Nothing like an overwhelming response :-D
I'd like to see a tutorial on layer masks in Photoshop Elements (I'm on V7). I've downloaded Bob's Layer Masks (from ages back) .. but I'm not sure where to go next. I believe I understand the concept, but have had a hard time getting started. And seems like one time I try it, things work great .. the next time I can't seem to get things working.

The next ideas isn't so much a tutorial idea, but more of a demonstration. I'd like to see a display of some of the Premiere Elements Effects (V7 for me). Steve has shown several in his Tricks & Tips book, but I know there's several that I look at and don't really know how to use them. There's sooo many of them .. and most folks probably don't have time to sit and play with them. I know that mixing and matching also creates some interesting effects. Maybe we could just have a section in the forum for the purpose of showing when we try something new with effects so folks can see what it looks like.
Something like the pastel sketch that I started playing with (after Steve showed it mixed with another effect in his book). I really like it for animal clips. This shows two different variations, with the original in the middle

Hi Jayell,
Take a look at these and let me know what you would like to see in addition to what is already there.

I would love to do a series on the Effects and Transitions and do examples of all of them.
That is a overwhelming project ...

Maybe I'll take a stab at this, Chuck. I could just do a video showing different effects, like the one above. THAT way I'd know what they all look like :-8 I'm curious if there'd be any interest in that.

Thanks for bringing that back around RF, forgot it was out there.
We should move that somewhere that would be easy for people to find.
I just hate it when good stuff like that gets buried and all the new people miss out.

A little late posting to this thread. A tutorial on the Audio Effects & Transitions would be helpful. The 'help files' do touch on these, but looking for more of an in depth explanation and examples for common uses. Thanks.

Thanks Cheryl, those are great suggestions.
using Fill Left and Fill Right, when and why would be a great one.
Swap Channels would also be very useful.

There are only two audio transistions, but how to adjust them might be a good tutorial.

The other audio effects would make great tutorials, some of them could be hours long like the Dynamics effects. Many effects inside one effect, there is a lot to cover there. This is one of those elephants you eat one bite at at time :)

 I want to learn it all, but bites are good too. Maybe start off with common audio problems & fixes that the average home video person would encounter.
