Most of you know our long time member Cinde, she has helped many and been a huge encouragement to many more. Cinde's husband passed away recently and she said I could pass along this message to you all. Cinde wrote:Chuck, thank you so very much for passing my information along to my Muvipix family.
I was married to my high school sweetheart, “Burr” for 43 years. I was with him when he died of a heart attack on May 15, 2010.
He was a minister. The last sermon he preached was entitled “God’s Heavenly Life Insurance Policy, Only YOU Can Cancel It”
We were having such a good day, doing one of our favorite things. We were at a local fair, and had planned a picnic lunch at one of our favorite parks on top of the mountain. As we often did, we had told each other “I love you” only moments before he died.
I am blessed to have my family with me. My daughter lives nearby and has been with me 24/7. My mom lives next door and the grandson we raised is moving back in with me.
Let Jerome Olds know that his song "Family Man" was the only song, looping continuously, on the memorial video I did for my husband. The hardest video I have ever done, and perhaps my last one... I don't know yet.
I would appreciate the prayers of my Muvipix family.

I'm glad you feel you can come to your friends here at Muvipix with this sort of thing, Cinde. We really do care more than you can know. And the story of his passing is definitely bittersweet.
I pray that you find peace in knowing that Burr has found his.
Still, I'm so sorry for your loss.

My deepest sympathies. When a friends parent died a few years back, I found solace in a document prepared by the hospice group that likened their parting to a train leaving the station. While those gathered at the station were sad to see the train leave, there were those at the next stop that were joyously awaiting the trains arrival. It at least helped to see the bigger picture. Peace
Sidd

To my Muvipix family,
Thank you so very much for your condolences. It really has meant more to me than I can express. It’s hard to accept, but with God’s loving grace I am getting through it… one day at a time.
Four weeks ago I did a memorial video for one of our local politicians, who died of a heart attack while teaching a CPR class. Yesterday I did a memorial video was for this same family, whose mother died of a blood clot following hip surgery. Ironically, I had taken classes with the mother and knew her personally.
It has been therapeutic for me to be able to do another memorial video only a week after my husband’s. And in a way that I don’t understand, it is helping me through my grieving process to know I am helping another family who is going through the same thing, but with the loss of two family members.
Thank you for your continuing prayers.
