I don't want to detract from the friendliness of this forum so I will be especially polite and not say anything about (censored) PayPal.
So I for one am very pleased that alternate payment methods will be available.

So I for one am very pleased that alternate payment methods will be available. Re: A Note About Muvipix MembershipsIn one of the earlier posts I saw that the price had jumped from the initial fee of $29.95 to $39.95, and now up to $49.95
I definitely want to join, but right now is just not the moment for me for lots of reasons, none having to do with anything here, the price etc. But, if I knew the price were about to go up again, I'd certainly join before that happened. So, my question is, do you announce upcoming price increases, or do they just suddenly show up? A heads up would be great! Thanks. JRjr
Re: A Note About Muvipix MembershipsThe $29.95 price was for our Grand Opening and only lasted until the end of the month (Feb). $39.95 was the initial pricing for several months until our product base grew to over 200 products. Some other subscription sites charge well over $100.00 USD for similar memberships. We're committed in keeping the price low and competitive to try and attract more members, not to mention the rock-bottom pricing enough that helps support this site in general. If you can find a better, comparable deal out there, please let us know!
And yes, we will let you know ahead of time if and when we raise the price of membership. The prior announcement for the last increase was posted here - viewtopic.php?f=17&t=895 Regards,

Re: A Note About Muvipix MembershipsThank, Ron, that's good to know, about the heads up. I'm not complaining about the price though, really, as everything I've seen thus far looks like it's completely well worth it. It's simply a matter of wanting to wait as long as I can before I sign up for personal reasons.
Thanks again.
Re: A Note About Muvipix MembershipsSpeaking of renewals, Chuck how do I know when mine is up. No doubt that I will renew, but I kind of forgot when I signed up. Will I get a notice or is there somewhere I can check my sign up date?

Re: A Note About Muvipix MembershipsThe best way is to check your PayPal account and go to the history, you will find the Muvipix subscription.
It will tell you if the subscription is still active and when the next payment will be (1 year from the original purchase). I don't think we are sending out individual notices, just a generic notice that renewals are coming up. 1.
