Migration Complete

Everything appears to be done now. Appreciate everyone hangin' in there. Only a few minor complaints - but all is well now.

If you see anything we missed, please let us know.

Status:
  • Digests are back on line
  • RSS feeds are reinstated
  • All muvipix POC's are moved to the new server
  • The Gallery is fully functional again (uploads, comments, Ecards, etc)
And speed of this server is at least 10 times better than last.
Regards,
-Ron

Hi Ron,

I tried uploading a FLV video and it appears to not upload. I enter the video in the upload area then click continue and it thinks then is says 0 files uploaded.

Yikes

Hi Sidd,

I just uploaded a FLV video and it worked fine -
Test FLV

How large is your FLV? If it's larger than about 40MB, that could be the problem.

it is 15.282MB

I have tried to upload it several times and I must be doing something stupid, but I can't figure it out.

I click on the Gallery, then upload video. I get the browse boxes and select my file click continue then nothing.

OK, let me do some troubleshooting, it could very well be our end. I'll post here when I find something. Thanks.

Glad to hear it, Jamal!

At Muvipix, we'll continue to improve our service to our little community.

And, now that we've got the server up and running, watch for some new products to be posted. And, of course, very soon, our official announcement for the spring video contest!
