If you've surfed around muvipix lately, you should start noticing changes to the interface, slowly but surely. One is, the "Members Area" (as it were) is now gone - but don't panic, you'll still be able to download your stuff! We've consolidated the pages into one - much more manageable, search engine friendly and just plain logical for the Admin. The "Products" page will now know if you're a member or not. If you already have the "Premiere" group insignia or you're one of our Premiere Moderators, then hit "Products" and you'll see what I mean Speaking of that, if you're a muvipix member and would like to seamlessly log in as a subscriber with your forum login (no more requiring two separate logins), simply send me an email by clicking here and include your PayPal email address that you subscribed with (occasionally, this is a different email than your forum email). I will then assign you to the approprate group, in the present case "Premiere", and you'll be all set. From then on, if you're logged into the forum, you can surf over to the "Products section" and download your stuff without having to login again. And it will keep this session as long as you're logged in to the forum (i.e., the "Remember me" option). You'll also notice other changes as well. A new "search engine", as requested, to hopefully narrow down those particular items as our products continue to grow. Try not to be too specific as you may not get the desired search results. A little trick when searching (to preclude bypassing plurals, hyphenations, possessives, etc.) is appending your search term with a wildcard character * (asterisk). This will usually result in more hits. It's not perfected yet as we still need to populate the database with hundreds more keywords, but this will come in time as well. There's also a more dynamic menu broken down into further categories. And if you have a favorite mother category (mine's music), then you can leave the menu open to that particular section and it will remember it when you return, again, even if you close your browser and return a week later. Not a big deal, but some may like that feature. There's more changes to come, but I'll leave it up to you all to find the [Easter Eggs] as time goes on. By all means, let us know if there are any questions/comments/suggestions/problems as to the current changes or what you would like to see. You guys are what make this little community great. Thanks again for all the support! Back to work...
Regards, -Ron

I like the submerged theme, little sub and all. Also you keep moving the place to select a theme. How long has the little change the font tool been there? Hadn't noticed it before. Boy this is like looking for Easter eggs! and opening Christmas presents too!

Noooo, each theme has a different theme select location. So, in essence, I'm not moving them, you are

Does this explain why I'm not able to download tips or tutorials? All I get is a screen with machine language all over it, and no download that I can locate.

No, it doesn't explain why you can't download tips and tutorials. Can you provide some details so I can help you out? You seem kind of harsh when you have a bit of a problem. How are you logging in and what problems are you having exactly?

I seem kind of harsh? Sorry. Didn't mean to be. Just pointing out the problem.
When I go to the members area (which is still working for me) and click on tips (which is the first one I tried), then click on the download button, I get a pop-up that says "download." It doesn't ask me for a folder to download to. When I click the download button on the pop-up, I get an icon at the bottom telling me that it's accessing something on the web, and a whole bunch of gibberish. At first there are some sentences, then it turns into machine language with strikethroughs.

You "think" the Members Area is working for you because I scripted it to be transparent (if logged in). You're actually ending up at the products page.
Anyway, on to your problem:
Are you using a Download Manager (Download Managers will not work on this site)? What OS and browser are you using? Do you have a broadband connection? Which product(s) is/are not downloading? How many times have you tried to download this particular item?
Thanks for the info.

Here you go.
1. I don't think I'm using a download manager. 2. I'm on Windows XP Pro and IE 7 3. I have a broadband cable connection 4. I downloaded a music piece yesterday, but, so far, nothing is downloading today 5. I tried downloading one item three times. The others have been once each.
Here's a string I copied if it's useful to you.

Are you using an AOL browser? And which item causes this problem?

No, I'm using IE 7.
And all the items seem to be causing this problem at the moment, though I haven't tried all of them, of course.
