Chuck

Thank you!! =D>
I was not expecting it so fast.

Just a quick question for my curiosity, is it very hard to change the templates from Version 3 to Version 2, or do you need to start from scratch? If it is not too difficult I would be interested in knowing how to do it.

Thanks again
Helen

Version 3 templates are very different from version 2, version 2 being the easier ones, but converting either would not be an easy task. It isn't easy to create either from scratch, much easier to start with a template and then change everything but leaving the structure intact.

Steve would be better able to answer this question in a little more detail, I don't do many templates.

My favorite of all :) Version 3 has a couple pretty nice templates
Baseball and Sports Night. What version are you using?

Hey, maybe I will do a Cubs template :-D

Hey Chuck, you know I had not explored all the templetes on PE. I was just excited to see the ones you were creating. By the way I tried to create a folder called basketball in my PE templates folder and them add the basketball ones I downloaded. I then opened PE to see if they were in the templates, but were not. Can I add these templates to PE and have them show up automatically or not. PE v.3.0 ( I'm an Astro fan)!

Your files should be placed in this folder

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0\DVD Templates\Basketball\Basketball

Be sure to follow the structure exactly. I just downloaded and installed them without a problem but forgot to put them in a secondary folder inside the Basketball folder ;)

You could also put the Basketball folder in the Sports folder instead.

And remember, the basketball template is a v3 template only ;)

Thats exactly what I did. Only created the first folder. You know I have downloaded all the templates. Should I then just discard all except the ones that say specifically version 3? :?:

As long as you have version 3 you should keep all of the templates that are named like this ***_pal_s_mm.psd and ***_pal_s_sm.psd

The version 2 templates have separate files for ntsc and pal, if you have templates that are named ntsc you can get rid of those because they are version 2 templates, they will not work in version 3.

Chuck

Thanks for the info. One of these days when I have more time I will try and change one of the templates and see how I go.

Just a quick update. The Postcard DVD Template now has choice of NTSC, PAL & PE version 3 (originally only PE version 3).
