Prom 2007

Postby momoffduty » Mon May 14, 2007 12:32 pm

Posted a Prom video/pic montage. Daughter in green dress. Her escort is her buddy since preschool (his mom talks at the end). Tall guy also a preschool friend. Thought about adding old footage of the 3 when they were little, a then & now type, but will save it for the grad video.

Thanks Beth & WheatKing for the info on gradient wipes and alpha invert. Snap book too.

The title shape with the alpha invert is skewed on the WMV file, but looks how it should in the project file and on the DVD. I checked the safe margins, rendering, etc. Not sure why it looks different. Still working on getting the keyframing smooth.

Suggestions and comments welcome.

Yes very good job. I liked the effect you got of videoing from the side as they were preparing for the photo and then seeing the photo.... normally when you see a photo it is a snapshot, this gave the photos more "life".... so to speak.
And yes a good job with the effects.

Thanks Sidd, Paul, & ed. The kids did have a good time. Several of her other friends (not in video) are into performing in plays in the area. When they congregate at our house, there is never a dull moment.

The line shot I did sitting down. Wanted more of an up angle.
