I have put together a few extra things for my Niece's wedding One of those things is a Silent movie clip. I have lots of footage from before the wedding, including the guys getting together to play golf. Lots and lots of footage of my Niece getting her hair done too. The groom lost a bet playing poker the night before and had to play golf with his pants down. Don't worry, he still has Boxers on Anyway, I thought a Silent Movie clip would be fun to add to their video (thanks for the idea Bob!). If you want to take a look it is a lot of fun but it is 50mb and 6 minutes long. http://www.chuckengels.com/PremierVideo ... edding.wmv

Great video and great idea Chuck. I'll be stealing the black and white silent film idea for my own future use. Thanks.

Very nice editing skills you have there Chuck! It was enjoyable to watch and it really did give the feeling of the old silent movies! One idea i had was to also add the extra feeling by cutting out certain frames of the movie so, that it jumps like it did with those old time silent movies. (I'm not sure if you have done that in this clip but if you have then forget what I have said). Hope you know what I mean? I could upload a clip that I did with this kind of effect! I did something like this but not as adventurous as your clip, the borders and text bring everything together, excellent stuff Chuck! I think your clip will give many of us something new to try Cheers & Merry Christmas, Lee

Chuck,
That was so clever and well done. What an unique way to share the footage. Did you use posterize time to give it that film look? How did you make the lines in it? The old film slicing looks.
This is not a criticism (and it might be a draft anyway), but you had a lot of typos in the text; sometimes with their names.
Happy Editing,
Beth

Now that was entertaining Chuck!!! I really enjoyed it, it made me laugh out loud....is pantsless golf a common thing in your neck of the woods? I am use to people here going shirtless at subzero Packer games, but haven't heard of pantsless golf? Kerrie

That all took place in DePere Wisconsin, I don't think pantsless golf is popular anywhere, but the groom lost a bet. For the film look I used the New Blue Old Film effect in Premiere Elements version 4 Some of the spellings are on purpose, but I will have to watch it again to be sure I didn't miss something, thanks for the heads up! Thank you all for the comments and kind words, they are much appreciated.

Very clever, the only thing missing was a closeup of the bride batting her eyelashes.
Where's the popcorn?

Such a great idea and novel way to present your film. I also will be doing something like this soon. I never would have thought about it. Thanks for the creative idea. I think I saw the silent film words boarder up here somewhere, didn't I?
Loved watching it... thanks for sharing.
