Re: Behind the scenes at the BasilicaSuddenly I'm noticing the extraordinary beauty and workmanship in basilicas and cathedrals. Sort of like getting a new car and noticing that ones like it are all over the place.
I had previously thought about trying to go back and see if my early childhood church is still standing. I had searched through the town's phone book looking for all the churches to see if I might remember how to locate it. Now, after seeing these vids, I'm even more interested in seeing if (if still standing) the building was as tiny as I remember. For all the church exteriors and interiors posted here lately, thanks, guys! Paz Whatever you do, don't set your coffee cup adjacent to your turps cup.
