Re: Marblehead LighthouseThat’s some story Mom! I would have thought that a charter captain would have been more aware of the weather. Scary! We used to fish for perch and walleye in the fall. Caught quite a few cases of seasickness over the years. Erie can be pretty rough even in good weather sometimes. The day we were at Marblehead the wind was really strong. About the only thing on the water was large vessels like yachts and the ferries.

Re: Marblehead LighthouseI was surprised the boat captain didn't know. Maybe the storm blew in farther than he thought. We were on there with another man and his teen age son. They looked scared too. It was a bumpy boat ride in a downpour. We were drenched!

Re: Marblehead LighthouseThat must have been pretty scary. I was out on the ocean once and although you could still see some of the shore the weather turned and the water looked black like oil. It got really big waves and all I kept thinking was get me back please.
I stay on land by day and help him video the lighthouse.... lol Sidd "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." ..... Ferris Bueller
