I've have also asked for guidance with the AE learning frustration. Thanks Sidd, I liked the analogy of the blink of an eye. The ferry TL was with the GoPro and shooting into the sun didn't match up to the clip of the Sony. That is why I stuck that dip to black there. I like jump cuts, but sometimes it can be too jarring or the scenery changes too much so the dip to black is my go to transition.

Chuck noticed. When I was editing this a month + after our trip I almost thought I forgot to get a feet clip. I did shoot lots of feet clips in town and that is for another video.
