OZer Note: This is a SG* video of mine. For Moz, my wife, this was her first time being the camera(wo)man making one of my vids. Concerning the bee bonk story line, Moz and I talked out what we were going to do as things came into play, totally 'winging it' actually overall. * SG - 'Since Grisetti' period. Film I made since I started reading Steve's tome on using Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13. _____________ New Bee Colony Bonk - Pampered Bees theOZer Style Moz and theOZer bonk our new bee colony into the OZ West Bee Colony beehive. I love this! So what keeps them from turning you into one large swollen piece of agonized man flesh?

Dave, Bees are not aggressive insects, and bees are not predatory. As an individual (human), you need only "Resonate," join in and become a member of the bee colony, and you then are 'on their side.' It is a most calming and self-satisfying feeling to walk amongst your bees. Love Bees, theOZer

I'm used to seeing beekeepers in protective gear. Under what circumstances would they need that?

Dave, "Love Bees" is the premise to my attempt at backyard beekeeping. I get stung once in awhile, and through my own error, not from an actual bee just attacking me for no good reason. Protective gear to prevent bee stings has its place. If you need to get things done wear protective gear, as professional bee keepers do. And, "Yes," things could have gone wrong during the bee colony bonk, and I could have ended up having to go to bonnet (put on protective gear). But, as I have found time and again, if you love bees, resonate that love, the bees readily take you into their fold, into the colony as another fellow 'worker bee' and you need not fear being stung, attacked, etc.

Dave, If I may add...do note I wore protective gear when I recovered the bee swarm. I didn't need any curve balls needlessly thrown my way as I was trying to quickly 'put to hive' a bee swarm. I had no idea what I was doing and so I went to bonnet, then took care of business, hived that bee swarm.

From my very limited experience with bees, I do understand that they're not out looking for trouble. It always ticks me off when people feel the need to start batting at bees. That's one sure way to put them in a bad mood, and I can't blame them. The thing that I found really interesting in your videos was that even when you're very active around them, or even shaking them out of the container, they were very mellow. I would have expected that they would have taken that as aggressive behavior on your part, but they didn't. Not sure how you "resonate" but I'll take your word on that one . Good to have you on board at Muvipix. Looking forward to more of your vids.
