Isn't it great how a new baby energizes and revitalizes a family? We've also been blessed with a couple of new additions in the past couple of years. Really enjoyed the vid Steve. A fine job as always. ::CLAP: Oh, and I'd love to have the recipe for that pasta dish at 02:11. :)

That's my Bolognese sauce, Dave. An easy recipe, but it takes about three hours to cook down and intensify the flavors.

Here's the recipe I'm currently using:

5 Tblsp butter
Half an onion, minced
2 Tblsp carrot, minced
2 Tblsp celery, minced

Simmer until soft. About 20 minutes

Brown into it 2 lbs of ground beef and Italian sausage mix.
Add 1 cup milk and 1 cup white wine. Simmer about a half hour to thicken.
Add 1 28 oz. can of diced tomatoes.

Simmer about 2-1/2 to 3 hours so that the sauce thickens and the flavors intensify.
Serve over a hearty pasta like rigatoni and top with grated Romano and/or Parmesan.

Steve it is always a treat to see your annual video year in review compilation. From the looks of things it seems like you must have shot a lot of video last year...... grand kids will do that to a camera......This generation of kids will have such a rich repository of video to look back on when they grow up to not only see themselves as kids but to see what the generations before them looked and sounded like. thanks for inviting us in for a quick peek.

Thanks, Sidd.

It's kind of funny how, when my daughter talks about some of her favorite moments from her childhood, I realize that quite often she's not remembering the actual event -- she's remembering my video of it!

I'm the same way personally with old 8mm movies that my dad took. I realize that so many of those early "memories" are from those movies.
