Re: 2014-08 Muvipix 1 minute video showcaseThis should be a humble contribute, Steve?
It is a very professional video, a great shot on the overpass at 0:39, fantastic voice and impressive rhythm. Not less than a Bbc or Cnn clip !
Re: 2014-08 Muvipix 1 minute video showcaseI think it is fair to say that Steve's voice is the Don LaFontaine of Muvipix

Re: 2014-08 Muvipix 1 minute video showcaseWow, great job guys. Enjoyed all of the entries from everyone. Keep them coming!
Steve, I haven't heard Allis-Chalmers or Schlitz in a long time. You sure fit in a lot of info in 1 minute. Sidd, well not sure what to say but copy right infringement all over again. I saw feet and now you are using the word "Slice". Driving me crazy! Just kidding, I will be borrowing liberally from everyone. I would really love to live on the coast somewhere preferably warm. Re: 2014-08 Muvipix 1 minute video showcaseI like the upbeat feel of your video Steve. Your voiceover is super - your background comes through in the tone and texture of it. I've never been to Milwaukee, but it looks like a place I'd like to visit. Thumbs up! Nice job.

Re: 2014-08 Muvipix 1 minute video showcaseGreat job, Steve.
I was hoping to be able to do a video using already archived video or stills, but I couldn't find what I wanted. It's almost all "home movie" type stuff. It's my busy season at work, so I hope I will have time to get out and do some shooting. I'd rather be editing than shooting.
Re: 2014-08 Muvipix 1 minute video showcaseThanks for the kind words, guys! It was nice to have a reason to cut together a video of something other than the grandson!

Re: 2014-08 Muvipix 1 minute video showcaseHey Steve, you did yourself proud! And, so did everyone else. Some health issues here, so I'm not going to be able to contribute, but doggone it is the type of thing I'd love to do.

Re: 2014-08 Muvipix 1 minute video showcaseI'm loving this contest! The videos are running the gamut from deep artistic pieces (Francesco) to Steve's awesome video about Milwaukee. Steve, you have an amazing narration voice!
Chris B had absolutely beautiful camera work and focus pulling, Cinde had beautiful shots of the Kentucky wilderness, and I loved Sidd's pacing and editing (and the camera spinning was a great opener). I agree with Dave's post about wanting more at the end of each video. We really have a great group of video editors here!!! I have developed a shot list and plan to start shooting tomorrow...
