Don't know if this is gonna' work, but I'm giving it a shot. I took a one hour video and did a preview of coming attractions. It's for a 50 year high school reunion. I need a critique of this, so all comments welcome. I'm a big boy, so whatever you say will be taken as constructive. Thanks for any input.

Great job Buddy! Quick cuts, kept it moving. Loved the music, too. What was that fantastic green screen that I saw at 1:03?

This high school has several special departments, and video media is a main section. And they compete with local Tv. I was totally impressed by what I saw on a mostly boring movie.

For some reason that embed code isn't working for me in IE or Firefox.

Just for the heck of it I went back to You Tube, upped the Aspect just to see if anything would change. I presume I should have entered it with the YouTube brackets.

Let me see if this will work: I've double checked myself at YouTube; don't know why the embed is not working. You're making this too hard, BuddyB. For Youtube, you simply need the URL of the video (no iFrames, no embed codes, etc). I fixed your first post

Great job Buddy! You will probably get a lot of sales for the full length video from the teaser you made. Do you get a cut?

Unfortunately no. I took this on as a learning process when Bonnie (my wonderful bride) who was a graduate of that school volunteered me for the gig. All I did on this is the post, no shooting no voice....and the bug has bitten me. The latest thing you put up is so impressive I've decided I want to be like you when I grow up. And I still watch the one you did with your grand daughter, wonderful.

What we have to grow up??? Editing keeps us young, now my knees tell me a different story.

Great job Buddy! The editing of the teaser was well done and the music kept things moving nicely.
I heard you tell the viewers that the full length video was ready and can be purchased from a contact in Atlanta. Do your viewers already know how long the video is, because I don't remember any mention of that. And does the video consist of shots from multiple locations, such as a cookout before the actual reunion? If so, that is a selling point and you should mention that in the teaser, perhaps as a slide with bulleted points.
It's a shame you don't get a cut of the sales. If the teaser is an indication I'm sure you did a great job!

Ron, you're very kind. Your points are well taken. No they won't really know how long the video is, yes multiple locations each divided by the white on black separators breaking three locations, and the slide idea is a good one. However, he's already got the finished product so that won't be possible. The video turned out OK. For me some of it really drags, and some is pretty interesting. The videography is not the greatest, especially from a lighting stanpoint. I did have decent sound, with mini bits of pop songs from their graduation year and tracks for other parts. All-in-all it turned out pretty fair. If it had been mine I would have done it differently, but it wasn't so... Thanks for the input. It will give me thoughts for future projects.
