I'm using IE 10. In that, it's a matter of how large you are displaying the page. If the browser window is large, you get the entire video. If you drag the side in to make the browser window narrower, the image is progressively cut off up to a certain point and then it stays fixed. Here is an example: The image on the left is with the browser window narrowed while the image on the right is with the browser window wider. Capture.JPG Try making the browser window larger and see if that makes a difference in your browsers.

That works for the video but it makes the forum text so small I need a magnify glass to read it.

Wow, Mom, I'm impressed!
Crystal clear is right. Looks great. Were you using a tripod? No seasickness. Looks like you all had a great time.

If you use Firefox, press Control and equals/plus to enlarge view, control and dash/underscore to reduce size, whichever you need to either see images well or read text. Control plus zero 0 will bring the page back to correct setting.

Yep, looks as if that's the culprit, thanks!

Thanks Paz! The clips of the fireworks and the people walking with the flags I used a monopod. The time lapses were tripod. Everything else is hand held. Some of those clips I used the Warp Stabilizer in PrPro and I was surprised how good it worked. I had tried that out first before doing the stablizing in AE.

I tried that and it enlarged the cut off player. Oh well.

Cheryl, I love how you film, it looks really professionally. Also your editing is just awesome. I so envy you for your new camera, I don't really like to use my HV30 anymore Great choice of music too.

Thanks Gerlinde! I've had the T4i since the end of July last year. It has been a new learning curve figuring out exposure & lenses & manual focus. Just knowing what buttons where what and which menu was a challenge. My speed has finally picked up locating it all, although I do fumble at times. Now I have to figure out how to file & store the media since I've moved from tape based. For long videos I still use the HV30 such as Commencements and Aubrey's school programs.

Yeah, I know about that, I have a Canon 30D (no video ). I'm still fumbling and I have had it for a long time. My main problem is its weight (1.7lb just the body with battery). Now attach my favorite lens ( Canon EF 100-300mm f/5.6 L), that adds another 1.5lb. I have a hard time to hold it steady. I find myself using my little Panasonic Lumix FP1 most of the time, although the video is only 1,280 x 720 pixels at 30 fps in Motion JPEG. It is just so light and small. I agree, storing all those files is a challenge. My current system is that I upload everything to at least 2 of my computers and also to an external drive. I know, that sounds very sophisticated....

I just got a chance to watch it. That was great. Excellent use of the music. If I may ask, where is the music clip from?

Thanks Bob! The music is from Vimeo Music. 99 cents for personal projects and 1 project only. The only thing is that you can't search the music by title. You have to search by category. This one was under "misc., happiness, love" I usually look under Indie-Rock.

All done in AE and was super easy. The time lapse photos are in their own folder, one was Lake folder and the other Mountain folder. In AE import box select the first photo in the series and import as an image sequence. The image sequence will be all the photos in that folder. They will come in as one unit at 1 frame each. Place in a comp of your video size and keyframe scale & position. (Some tuts say to use Anchor point instead of position, but I found that it works the same.) If you want to change the speed, then Time-Remap. The Window cloud project was time remapped and I checked the frame blending option on export which took a long time to render. I didn't use that option on this project of the lake & mountain because it looked fine at the 1 still per frame. I shot in jpg medium 3456x2304 and that was plenty of room to pan & zoom. Can we expect a Flip Macro slug timelapse in the future???

Gerlinde, thanks for sharing your back up system. I was thinking on the same lines to store a copy of the video on my old computer's second drive which is 1.5TB and the first drive is 500G so could even use some of that space. Keep the video on my current computer's second drive until I am done editing/burning. And I need to get a new external. The old one is only 1TB. Your camera is the same weight as mine, but the 40mm is only a few ounces. the 18-135mm is heavy and I did lug that around the zoo one day. What helps is the Women's Black Rapid strap. The strap is very comfortable. Here is a demo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFtOXCpGM9k
