All about Particle Illusion!

Postby pch006 » Mon Dec 17, 2012 6:06 pm

I love the Particle Illusion program, but, I haven't used it as much as I would like to... so... Now I've used it a LOT! "How many emitters did you use, Paul?" I have no idea... a LOT!

Paul, with your ruby shoes please set away from the particle transmitter! :-D You did have me confused for a second there when you quoted Thomas Wolfe...I was thinking Tom Wolfe. All the particles it could have applied. Great job on the video!

Thanks, folks! Yep, off the wagon again! Bob... my PI version is 3.0.4.3. I think that is from 2010. Has it been up graded since then?

I don't know if it's been updated from your version. It lists as version 3.0 on their web site. Updates appear to have really slowed down since it was acquired by GenArts.

I don't own Particle Illusion. I did take a look at Particle Illusion for After Effects when I was looking for a more sophisticated particle generator than the built-in ones. In the end, I went with Trapcode Particular.
