Re: The 2016 Grisetti Video YearbookI like it. And you got to be in the videos more than once. Do your friends contribute any video they took with their own cameras?

Re: The 2016 Grisetti Video YearbookI love the Grisetti Video Yearbook every year. Always well done and I feel like I am one of the family.
The spaghetti made me hungry I think I know what we are having for dinner tonight... lol I think the fact that no one looks at the camera makes the moments seem like you get to be there when they are happening. That is pretty cool. I guess I would add to the title and call it the "Big Hug" edition. It was nice to see & especially thank you for sharing. well done. Sidd "Life moves pretty fast. Re: The 2016 Grisetti Video YearbookThanks, folks. As many of you know, this has been a personal discipline of mine for some 28 years now. Although it's only been since digital video and the advent of Premiere Elements around 2003 that I've actually been able to do it at the level I've wanted to.

Re: The 2016 Grisetti Video YearbookI finally got back to viewing this video. Only took me a couple of days. As always, the intro shows the quality and fun in your editing and leaves me wanting to see more. Always glad when you share this with us. Your grandson is a cutie. With that curly mop of hair he reminds me of a hobbit, and I do mean that as a compliment. Thanks Steve!
Edit: It's also nice to hear someone who knows how to properly pronounce Wooster. Be yourself; everyone else is taken.

Re: The 2016 Grisetti Video YearbookLOL, yeah, they're kinda neat. I have a friend who has the Samsung 360. It takes pretty good 4K 360 still photos but the video just isn't there yet. Maybe next year. They're going to have to get up to the 8K range to make the video really acceptable IMHO anyway. In the mean time I was lucky enough to snag a NEW Hero 4 black for $250 off of ebay a week ago so I can dedicate one primarily for use on my quadcopter

Re: The 2016 Grisetti Video YearbookSteve I was just curious do you create a full length video for the family, or is it just a bunch of events put together. I watched the clip a couple of times and really liked it. You grandson looks like he would provide a wealth of story material.

Re: The 2016 Grisetti Video YearbookThe entire video runs about 30 minutes, Sidd. This is the intro. I'm a big fan of telling people what you're going to show them, showing them and them telling them what you showed them.

Re: The 2016 Grisetti Video Yearbook
I do remember you saying that in the past. Well anyway they are lucky they get such a nice time capsule or as Mom calls it a slice of life. As always thank you for the view in and the inspiration.. Re: The 2016 Grisetti Video YearbookI always enjoy watching how you take the gentlest moments - hugs and greetings and sitting and eating with friends and family and make them compelling viewing. I don't know these people...why would I watch? Don't know, but you make want to!!!
You are very good at what you do, Steve...and it's not JUST the voice. LOL Another year, another great video intro!
