Let's Meet Huellette Bowser!!

Postby Greg mgm » Fri Apr 11, 2008 4:31 pm

Something my wife and I made a while back. I'll post comments on how/ why we did it this way, after some of you have seen it.
I tried embedding, but no go.

That was very amusing, hope that is not a typical LA day. Also saw your Pine Cove Rain, very good music...did you write/perform that piece? Done anything with your green screen yet?

We made the video as a spoof of a local CA PBS reporter "Huell Howser" who can be described as the "master of the obvious". He comments on the most ridiculous things...similar to the daylight comment. The monster was inspired by a BBC tv show "Torchwood" that had a monster come out of nowhere and didn't fit the story whatsoever, so we though PERFECT, we'll have a monster  .......But we explain it as life in LA. You can go along with your busy life, see something big going on right next to you, and then blow it off and continue with your day. By the way, that's my wife with a ridiculous gag store wig :brilsmurf:

Momoffduty- The "Horrible Monster of All Time" got put in the video with the use of green screen. OK, I didn't have my new green screen set when we shot it, but I used a red cloth instead and used chromakey in PE3.

The music for Pine Cove Rain was written by my wife, and we performed/recorded it in our apartment. Luckily the piano and drums are electronic, so we keep peace with the neighbors. :-5 ........Thanks for the comments!
