It's been quite a few years since I've posted here - it's awesome to see some of the familiar names still here. I won a prize back in 2008 video contest for "stories to tell"

Re: DVD Capability for Premiere Elements 2023Just to clarify, you can't just output an MP4 and burn it to a DVD and have a playable DVD. It needs to be authored as a DVD or BluRay disc.
There are still a few DVD authoring apps out there. Some are even free. But my personal favorite is TMPGEnc. It can turn your MP4 from Premiere Elements into a playable disc. https://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/endproduct/taw5.html HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
Re: DVD Capability for Premiere Elements 2023Another option you might consider is posting the video to VIMEO. They have a multitude of privacy options and you can just send the viewer a link in e-mail. In addition if your TV has internet you can down the free VIMEO app on your TV and watch videos that way too. The same privacy protocols apply for the TV version. You can also make the video private so it does not show in any searches.
I like it because sometimes I make revisions to my videos. This way I upload the newer version and it is updated across the board and keeps the same original link. For me no burner, no media no jewel case and no postage. Just a thought. Sidd "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." ..... Ferris Bueller
Re: DVD Capability for Premiere Elements 2023
Not so much anymore. Vimeo just recently ended support for existing Apple TV, Android TV, Fire TV, and Roku. It's still possible to use Vimeo in a browser on any of those devices, or use screen mirroring and the Vimeo app from a phone. https://help.vimeo.com/hc/en-us/article ... or-TV-apps I was very disappointed recently to find that the Vimeo app on my Fire TV stopped working. Re: DVD Capability for Premiere Elements 2023
Well that is a bummer.
How is casting: a. easier b. better Vimeo must have had to pay to be on Roku, Fire, etc..... lol

Re: DVD Capability for Premiere Elements 2023
Agreed. Sounds like corporate double-speak for "Supporting the apps was costing us money that wasn't generating more revenue." As for myself, I'm seriously giving consideration to other options than Vimeo, even though I've been using it for quite some time. The process to mirror to my TV from my iPhone involves a third party app and just too many hoops to jump through. I don't need the stress. Be yourself; everyone else is taken.
