Output longer than video

Output longer than videoI'm having a heck of a time with the length of my video. I watched your YouTube video on "stray frames," and I thought I got the length down to the 2 minutes the video really is. (The market stopped when it should have.) But when I went to export it, the gray box on the right says that it's still 6 minutes long! I cleared my cache, closed the program, re-started my computer...but when I re-loaded the video and tried to export it, it STILL shows 6 minutes. It also shows 6 minutes. Even in my main folders when I check the properties of the file, it says 6 minutes. Any idea what's going on???
Re: Output longer than videoMost likely your Work Area Bar is longer than your movie.
Press the backslash key (above Enter/Return) so that your entire movie is visible on your timeline. Then double-click on the very top of the Timeline, near the top of the ticker numbers, so that the Work Area Bar (the light-colored area above the timeline) snaps to the same length as your movie. Once you've done that, your output should definitely match your movie length. HP Envy with 2.9/4.4 ghz i7-10700 and 16 gig of RAM running Windows 11 Pro
