Get Media - AVCHDI've purchased a Canon Vixia 100 about a year ago and am begining several editing project of the last year's video. Question on getting media? Any differance in quality (or usability) of the files if I simply drag the files off of my memory card using a card reader vs. using the media downloader in PRE 7? Thanks, Bic.
Re: Get Media - AVCHDI sure wouldn't think there would be any difference Bic.
But some of the AVCHD folks should be around to help you out before long Dell Precision 490; 2 x Xeon 3.0 Dual Core Processors, 4gb of 533mhz DDR2 RAM, ATI Stealth 512mb Video, X-Fi ExtremeMusic Sound Card, 2 x 250gb SATA II , 1 x 750gb SATA II
MUsic, VIdeo, PIXtures - We help you put it all together
Re: Get Media - AVCHDSince the Premiere Elements Media Downloader merely downloads AVCHD files from AVCHD camcorders and does not capture or change them in any way, your results should be identical, Bic.
2.8 ghz Pentium 4 HT, 4 gigs RAM, 128 mb ATI graphics card, 2 160 gig SATA drives + 1 500 gig SATA (all internal)
