avchd on double layer DVD?

Postby alaskamovieguy » Sat Jan 02, 2010 4:17 am

Might be a 'dunce' question, but before I go and try putting an hour of avchd on a double layer dvd, does anyone know a reason I can't? I've been doing up to 30 minutes on single layer dvd. I would think that as long as my blueray player plays double layer and my burner does them....am I missing anything here? Bob

I haven't done it but I cant see any reason why you could not. Note however the dual layer discs are not exactly 2x the capacity of a single layer so it would be less than an hour.

Thanks Paul. I don't know why I hadn't thought of that before. Too busy trying to figure out a workable workflow I guess...not to mention still a novice at this.
