Great article. It packs a lot in, especially with the well-organized links to other articles. Unfortunately, many seem to be rushing to get onto the HD bandwagon, and are disappointed when their computer is just not up to the task of working with it. Even some dedicated NLE workstations of only a year ago, are not powerful enough, or set up properly to handle it. How can one expect a 4 year old laptop to do the job? Also, many of the people, who seem to be having problems, don't even have an HD delivery system in place. These same folk are loathe to downconvert, before doing the editing. Thanks for posting, Hunt
