Perfect - no - what is?. But a darned good consumer camcorder. I really like mine and find that the image stabilization really works well. For $625, go for it!

I just checked that link again - now $549 and free shipping. Sheesh, is the world coming to an end? I paid $900 13 months ago for my HV20 and I am still raving about it.
