"API Failure" in Premiere Elements 4

Postby chrisco » Tue Sep 16, 2008 7:55 pm

Wondering if others can take a 1440x1080i HDV file in .M2T format (reversed, de-interlaced, both, or none in timeline) then share as quicktime with H.264, 1280x720, 30f, progressive, quailty 5.
When I do it it gets down to 5 sec left it throws an "API Failure" and doesnt create the file.
I tried uninstalling PE4 and quicktime and any other video related software etc.
Reinstalled PE4 and the latest quicktime 7.5.5 and it still does this.
I want to use this cause someone on the site I want to use is using this format (from another app) and it looks amazing, much better than anyting else I have come up with.

Thanks
