Re: HD-DVD format DVD Player from Best BuySo far, I am dissappointed with my purchase. For this class of machine I expected a first-class upconverter (scaler) but I find that my $100 Sony does a better job.
Perhaps there is some tweak I need to make. The Sony works very well with all options set to AUTO or default. Filtering seemed to makes things worse. I need to do more comparing but we don't watch that many movies. It's mainly the home edited stuff with PrEl and the Sony makes it look better on the 32 inch LCD HDTV. -=Ken Jarstad=-
