FLV in V2018

Postby Dave McElderry » Tue Feb 06, 2018 12:24 pm

Anyone know if PrEl 2018 supports FLV files added directly to a project? I found this page, but it's not a complete list. It just says "and many more". I know that older versions did not.

Definitely not. FLVs are considered a dead format.

Even Premiere Pro CC no longer supports FLV.

I can convert. I thought that maybe since it became an Adobe-owned format that they might have supported it in PrEl at one time.

They did -- at one time. But not for at least 8-9 years.

Really? I still have V7 installed. Maybe I’ll see if it will do it. I just want to combine several files into one and output to an MPEG. Nothing fancy. Maybe just a little trimming.

Version 7 only supports export of FLV, not import:
