The Sony Airpeak prioritizes filmmaking first. The drone has a quadcopter design and a rectangular body. Its gimbal hangs below its center. This is where the Sony Alpha camera is mounted. There also appear to be two more cameras inside of a bar both at the front and the rear of the drone. It’s possible these cameras could be sensors used for flight navigation.
“Airpeak, the industry’s smallest class of drone that can be equipped with the Alpha system, is capable of dynamic filming and precise, stable flight, and aims to contribute to the world of entertainment while also pursuing new possibilities for creative expression,” Sony writes. Sony says the Airpeak drone will support Sony Alpha cameras. However, the company hasn’t specified if the drone can work with other Sony camera models or other manufacturers’ cameras.
Ed my guess this is not the drone you would be using to check the gutters..... well unless that happened to be the opening scene of the next Marvel blockbuster....
And Steve... I am also guessing if you get one of these drones your grandson would not be flying it..... yet....
As for me... the closest I get will be watching this video......
