Re: The Train DepotAnother great video Sidd
The music seemed a little loud to me, especially during Steve's narration. Could just be me though as my hearing isn't what it used to be. Another great opportunity for Steve to showcase his golden voice 1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

Re: The Train DepotWhat a great look at the station and surrounding area! Very watchable, and the video quality and color is amazing. As I've said before, I love vicariously touring these places that I'll never get to see in person. Thanks for sharing, and nice job Steve!
(I tend to agree with Chuck. I'd probably knock the background music down 6 or 10 dbs during the narration.) Be yourself; everyone else is taken.

Re: The Train DepotWell done, again, by both of you.
Re: The Train DepotThank you all for the very kind words. I cannot tell you what a treat it is t have Steve's voice grace these videos. His efforts really add the extra touch IMHO.
Chuck & Dave thank you on the volume comments. I thought the music was a bit loud too but not sure with the speakers I was using. I re-uploaded a new version with the background music lowered by 6db. It sounded better at home so if it is still too loud I can pull the music back again. Dave I am glad you enjoy watching distant places. The Genesis of this video is a bit funny. I was looking for new places to fly and see if I could find something interesting. Originally the video was going to be about the water tower that is in the video. It is one -of the last remaining items of the Del Monte fruit packing plant (1872-1999). While the city kept much of the buildings foundations they incorporated the foundations into condos. So not much of a story there. But because the tower is next to the train tracks it got me thinking about the train depot. When I happened on the train station I started doing a little research to see when the building was constructed and found out that the whole area surrounding the train station is about to drastically change. I thought I better get out there and capture what is left before progress moves in. Sidd "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." ..... Re: The Train DepotEnjoyed the video! Great narration & filming. I liked that you added the old video and photo. This film has it all: trains, plains, autos, and drones

Re: The Train DepotThanks Chuck. Sometimes when I am working on a project I get so used to the levels I miss keeping the music bed in the background.

Re: The Train DepotShowed the video to some co-workers and all of them commented on how good they thought the voice narration was. Quickly follow up with the comment "How were YOU able to get such a good narrator??"
