Drag and drop to folders in Assets panel

Postby dberthia » Thu May 25, 2017 2:51 pm

Prior to PE15, I could create folders in the assets panel and drag-n-drop files into the folders. In PE15, I can still create the folders, but the drag-n-drop isn't working. I'm on Windows 10. Is this a known thing? What's the best way to get files into folders now?

You should be able to.

Are you working in List View or Thumbnail View? Try switching the Project Assets panel to the other view.

Weird. I usually work in List View. I do the drag-n-drop, and it doesn't update. If I switch to Grid View, then I see the item has been moved.

Sometimes, in List View, you can't tell that you're actually looking at the sub-directories as well as the main directories because the sub-directories are toggled open by default.
