Burn DVD with PRE15

Postby kenskopp » Thu Mar 02, 2017 12:26 pm

Hello Gang,

I need help burning a dvd with PRE15. Had no problems with PRE12 and burning to folder and using Imgburn to make a dvd disc. I burned using iso in PRE15. When I tried to use Imgburn, the dvd I made would not play on my dvd. I need guidance on how to set up burn in PRE15 and what settings to use with Imgburn.

Thank you in advance for your guidance.

Hello Steve,

I found page 433 in the MG to PRE15 and you mention right clicking on iso file to open file and copy video-ts. When I open with windows 7 my only options are to pick imgburn or windows disc burner. I find no option to open with widows explorer to access audio and video files.

If you've created an ISO file, you've successfully created DVD files of your movie.

However, you don't just burn an ISO file to a disc. You have to use a program like ImgBurn to create a DVD disc from the ISO.

Our free tutorial shows you how.

Hello Steve,

I somehow got Imgburn to write a dvd that works on my dvd player. Appreciate it if you could walk through the steps. There are so many options now. I wish Adobe would not add features and eliminate ones that worked so easily before. I did look at the video you mention above.

Thank you

We'll see if we can include a how-to tutorial on creating a DVD/BluRay in our next batch, Ken.
