Lighting Kits?

Postby SaxMarc » Wed Nov 21, 2007 7:49 pm

If this isn't the right place for this, please move it accordingly...

What do folks use for lighting for their videos, if they use lights other than natural light? I'm going to be doing some interviews, and I'd like to have an inexpensive, portable, light kit (preferably three lights). I've looked around, and I''m looking for suggestions. I saw one that says it is daylight color temeprature with fluorescents (I can't find the link right now of course) for around $350 I think, has anyone used something like that? Any thoughts? Thank you.

I have been thinking about lighting too,
One I was thinking about is this set. http://cgi.ebay.com/2000-Watt-Digital-Video-Continuous-Lighting-Kit-SoftBox_W0QQitemZ280174520869QQihZ018QQcategoryZ79008QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem
Any thoughts on these. I have seen them go as low as $288.

I bought the sp160 flash set last week from this seller and am pleased with them.
