Topaz Labs - Cool Stuff !!

Postby Chuck Engels » Thu Sep 13, 2012 12:18 pm

Muvipix is a Topaz Labs affiliate, not just because we make a small commission but because they produce great products :)

Just an FYI.

Topaz Labs has just released Topaz Simplify 4 which has many more presets and added capability. If you have already purchased an earlier version, the upgrade is free. Topaz is providing a 30% discount on both the Simplify 4 plugin and the Photoshop bundle that's good through the end of this month. For more information see Topaz Labs Simplify

I like this plugin. I've used it to create stylized backgrounds for dvd menus, titles, and cover art, among other uses.

I received the email from Topaz about the 30 percent discount. Last night I downloaded Simplify and started the trial. What I like about Topaz's plug-ins is the design of the interfaces are well thought out and consistent. Since Chuck posted about Topaz, I've purchased two of their plug-ins, the DeNoise5 and DeJPEG4. I have tons of really rough looking JPEGs shot with a Olympus Camedia DC100 (my first digital point and shoot) that I can clean up better with DeJPEG4 than with DeNoise5. I really like the ReMASK, but the price is kind of high considering I don't do much extraction, and I can extract with Photoshop Elements and Paint Shop Pro, although not as quickly or cleanly.

I just received an email from Topaz Labs reminding that the 30% discount ends in 2 days (9/30). It also mentioned that you can use the discount code for the bundle and all individual programs. If you've been thinking of getting one of their products, this may be a good time to take the plunge.

Looks good! But, did you jump the gun Chuck? The Topaz labs site is still showing Detail 2. Do you know when it will be available for download?

I've used Detail ever since the first version. This release has some nice features. I'm looking forward to my upgrade.

Just a follow up. Detail 3 has now been released. As has been Topaz Labs past practice, upgrades from earlier versions are free. They are also giving a 30% discount until December 16 for new purchasers of Detail 3. The coupon code is also good on the bundle.

I installed my upgrade today. First impression, it's great. I really like being able to see the results of adjusting the sliders as I move them. And, it's speedy and responsive on my system.

Two more days to get the 30% discount through Topaz Labs Affiliates only ...

We are thrilled at the excitement and user response to the new Detail™ 3. We have already seen so many stunning images beautifully enhanced with Detail™. As you know, the special 30% discount offer will be ending on December 16th, but we thought it would be great to extend the discount a few days and make it available only through our affiliates.

This two-day sale extension will be available only through you. I have set up a special affiliate coupon code for you to pass out to your audience. This is a two-day discount - valid December 17th and 18th only. This discount will give users 30% off and can be used towards Detail, the bundle or bundle upgrades. Just be sure to also include your unique affiliate link so that you can earn commissions on this extra two-day sale.

Please use one of the links above and enter the coupon code at checkout :)
The coupon code is: getdetail
