Hi Some time back, I downloaded your Falling Snow clip. White snow flakes on black background. Is there a way of superimposing the falling snow over a clip and leaving the black background transparrent? I've tried various ideas but no success yet. If anyone knows - it'll be you guys cheers John

Which clip is that, John? I searched the products and didn't find any with that name. Is it the snowing video motion background on page 7 of the SD motion background >general category? If so, that one already has an alpha channel for transparency and you can simply place it over another track. If it's not that, tell us which one it is and where we can find it and I'll take a look.

Hi,
Thanks for replies. This is the file name. I think it came from Muvipix. It's an MP$ clip. I'm sure when I found the clip it mentioned being able to superimpose the snow but maybe I downloaded the wrong version.

Thanks Bob - works a treat. I'd never have worked that out myself - must read a tutorial on 'Blend Modes'. Snow had a blue tinge so just had to lower saturation.
Regards
John
