Organizer 14

Postby Walter Seaton » Thu Sep 07, 2017 1:43 pm

I have just downloaded Photoshop Elements 14 and Premiere Elements 14 and Update 14.1. I bought these because of my recent bad experiences with the 12 version on the latest upgrade to my Windows 10. I have also ordered Steve's book on 14, but it has not yet been delivered. I am pleasantly surprised by the increased clarity and superior colours of 14, but also ran into two problems. The reaction to commands is sluggish (slower than in 12). In Organizer 12 it was possible to show the identifier of each image under the image and also under the image the Album and Keywords associated with the image. I was not able to find any way of doing this in 14. Would you please let me know how I can speed up the action and get the identification to show under each image. Many thanks.

Ctrl+d (or Command+d on a Mac) will switch your media browser from grid view to details view.

Meantime, don't panic if the program doesn't seem as responsive as the old version. Let the program do its auto analyzing and it will settle down eventually and be at least as fast as your older version. (Although I see you're using a 32-bit operating system, so you won't be able to take full advantage of the latest enhancements to the programs.)
