Crawling Text

Postby Wil » Sat Oct 22, 2016 4:47 pm

The beginning of my crawling text is being cut off. Steve's guide is great, but I can't find a solution to this problem.

There is probably a limit to how long your crawl to be.

How long is your crawl?

Also, do you have the options to Start off Screen or End off Screen selected?

If your crawl is too long the create a crawl, you can also manually create a crawl by making your title stationary and then using keyframed motion to animate it's movement from right to left.

You can also split your crawling title into two titles and have them back to back on the timeline, that will appear as one long title. The Roll Crawl Options can be seen below. The Pre-Roll and Ease In are also important, as well as the start off screen check box. There are many title tutorials available here as well

Be Sure to open the title editor by double clicking on the title, then the menu options for text will become available.

Hope this helps :)
