Closing Media Asset Dialog Box

Postby captaindon130 » Wed Mar 09, 2016 11:35 am

I want to close the project asset dialog box when I click anywhere in the program. Currently you have to click on the project asset tab that you used to open it. Can someone help please?

Hi Don,

You have to click on the tab to close the Project Assets. It will open automatically when you add media, other than that you have to click on it to open or close.

You could create a keyboard shortcut to open and close if that would help :)

You can also "unpin' the Project Asset panel.

By default the Project Asset panel is pinned open. That means it stays open until you close it. But if you click on thumbtack button at the top of the panel, it will be unpinned and will close automatically whenever you select another panel.

Excellent Steve, that's the perfect answer !! That works perfectly, now why didn't I think of that? It takes a village (community) doesn't it :)
