Free trial banner still there after purchase

Postby cmarch2106116 » Fri Mar 04, 2016 4:10 pm

I purchased and downloaded Premiere Elements 14 and Photoshop Elements 14 from Amazon a week ahead of the expiration date for my month long free trial. During the trial version period I was working on a new project, I stopped at about the ten minute mark and decided to commit to Pre Elements 14 and Photoshop Elements 14. When I reopen Premiere Elements 14 now since my purchase, I still have the banner across the time line saying "Created in Free trial version". How will I be able to continue my project without the banner. Should have the banner disappeared after my purchase? Thanks for any advise on this problem.

In the project or on the export?

Just so we understand better what's happening, when you purchased your copies of Premiere Elements 14 and Photoshop Elements 14, you should have received a product serial number. That serial number needs to be entered into the software to convert the trial version to a paid unrestricted version. Did you enter that serial number into the software?

Even after you activate the software, the banner will appear on video you rendered while you were using the trial.

To delete these files, go to the directory folder where your project (.prel) file is stored and open the Adobe Premiere Elements Preview Files folder. Delete the .PRV folder that has the same name as your project.

You won't delete any work in progress. Just the preview renders. They and the folder will be recreated the next time you render your timeline.
