Rotate Clip +5˚ in PE14

Postby abeck » Sun Jan 31, 2016 11:19 am

How does one rotate an entire clip? Can it be done with Crop or does it have to be done using key frames at beginning and end (having the same value)?

Welcome to Muvipix abeck! :meet:

After selecting the clip in the timeline go to Applied Effects > Motion. Under Rotation click on the degrees indicator and type in the number you want. Finish by pressing Enter on your keyboard. This can also be done with the slider, but it's a very course adjustment. Or you can click and drag on the degrees indicator. Note that depending on the scaling of your clip, it may be necessary to scale the zoom up a bit because rotation may cause some black triangular areas to appear at the 4 corners. The example below was done in PrEl 11, but I think it will be very similar in PrEl 14.
