Fine tuning audio

Postby sadddletree » Tue Jan 10, 2017 12:06 am

I am working to take out short bursts of distracting breathing. I am keyframing the section - two keyframes per side - and dragging down the yellow line between to cut down the volume on these short sections. I get a pop-up that tells me how far down I am dragging it, but it is pretty fine work. Not a lot of movement needed by the mouse to make a large difference in volume

Question - is there a place I can set that audio level for just the section I am keyframing? The audio gain does the whole long section. I've read the book but either I am missing the right section or I'm not understanding something.

Thanks again!!

Found it!! A whole section I never knew existed. The adjust section changes when you click on an audio line versus the video line. Who'da thunk it?? :)
