I have a number of old M2P files which I would like to import, but when I try PE responds with a message to the effect that "no codec found". Is it possible to get a suitable codec and if so how??

Re: Importing M2P filesPremiere Elements supports importing M2P files. Be sure you have the final version of the Quicktime Player installed. Premiere Elements uses the codecs installed by that application. Also, verify that the file is ok by examining it in a utility such as Mediainfo or gspot. M2P files use mpeg -- specifically mpeg-2.
Re: Importing M2P filesThanks very much for a prompt response. Much appreciated, I can now fix it!.
