Both in the program and on a burned DVD it doesn't work.

Ok, thanks. I am going to have to experiment but I don't have version 13 any longer. I will try to test this tomorrow with versions 14 and 15. I am sure this wasn't a problem in version 10 and I know it can be done with Encore DVD.

Have you installed the version 15 trial and tried that yet? I re-read the posts but can't tell if you ever got that far or not.

I haven't done that yet. Still working on getting my next project done and then doing a few at a time with 15. But thinking about it, I can't then go and open projects I have completed with 15 in 13, can I?

I am not the only one with this problem, as I had in the link earlier in this thread. But there was no follow up to that so I don't know if they ever got it working properly or not.

My guess is that it would have been fixed in either an update or in the next version. Are you sure you have all of the updates for version 13, there were a few of them. You would not be able to open version 15 projects in version 13 but you can save a copy of the version 13 projects and open the saved copy in version 15. Always use a saved copy, that way you can always complete your project using the original project file in the older version if necessary.

I found the updates on the bottom of the Help menu and everything is up to date now. Still having the same issues. Nobody has answered on the Adobe forum either (https://forums.adobe.com/message/8993326#8993326) so I am pretty much at a loss here. I'm in the same boat as the original poster in the Adobe Forum thread in that I need two lines in my titles. Sigh...

Found a work around for this problem. The glitch doesn't occur until you close down the program and reopen it. So get the video totally completed. Set up the menu as you want it and burn anything you want to make before you close it down. Make and ISO file or TS Folder if you want to burn more discs later. The menu will work fine, so long as it is burned before you shut the program down, because it will be garbled again when you next open it up.

That sounds remarkably similar to a problem and solution I had working with Premiere Elements 3.0.2. The reason that I joined Muvipix was to seek a solution to that problem.

Yes, that was a very similar solution to a similar issue long ago. Wonder if it is a problem with the burner or the burner driver or firmware.

I doubt it, as it happened before the burner was involved. You could see the problem before attempting to burn.

The problem happens when you shut down Elements and start it up again without trying to burn anything. So not the same problem.

There was a previous issue where you needed to open a project and without doing anything else burn the disc. If you made any changes or did anything but go directly to burning the disc it would fail every time. Then you needed to burn as many discs as you needed before doing anything but burning discs. Can't remember what version this was an issue with but it did cause problems for some people. Not everyone had the problem which is what makes me think it could be burner related.
