Show time lapse on video?

Show time lapse on video?

Postby angelah100 » Sun Sep 13, 2015 8:22 am

My son has PRE13 and he would like to have a digital clock or timer in the corner of his video. When he speeds the video up using time stretch, the timer would then show how quickly time is passing in the video. Does anyone have advice on how to do this?

He's using video from his GoPro.

There are a couple of ways to do this. You could look for some royalty free video (Muvipix Resources, http://muvipix.com/products.php?searchp ... =0&btn.y=0) of a clock.
Then lay the motion element over your video track and speed up the clock as you speed up the video.

Take some video of a clock. Put in on a track above the main video and adjust the size and position.
Make cuts and change the speed or use time remapping to change the speed of the clock:

thanks to both of you! I'll let him know. Looked at the downloads and he was thinking of a digital clock or timer, not analag. He's considering taking video of a digital clock.

NewBlue has a plug in for Premiere CS6 that would work, the plug in is $99 and does a lot more than just add a clock to your video. Not sure it would work with Premiere Elements however, but in case anyone else is interested. https://www.newbluefx.com/elements
