Ladybug Ladybug fly away home

Postby sidd finch » Fri Apr 28, 2017 12:57 pm

It is that time of year when we introduce hundreds of Ladybugs to the garden. I was again very fortunate to have the voice talents of the " Milwaukee VOX" Steve do another outstanding job breathing life into my opus. To my ears Steve is the Jay O. Sanders of voice over.

Hope you enjoy and comments are always welcome.

Thank you Mom & Chuck.

I drafted the script but Steve lent his vocal prowess to the opus.

Some of your best! A very enjoyable mini nature film. Great work by both contributors.

Thank you for the kind words Bob, Dave & Steve.

Dave I like that mini-nature films...

I cannot tell you how much i appreciate you efforts Steve. For me personally it I am thrilled to share the work and the first thing people comment on is the voice. Yes it is always in a positive light. :)

For this video I think I have finally have the macro setup that works well.

I am using an aluminum housing that has a 37mm lens thread with 2 macro lenses stacked together.

and a USB Port 38PCS LED Flash Light Ring to provide light.

I am still getting a bit of flicker in the video so I need to mess around with some settings a bit more. In case you were wondering they are on a Yarrow plant which Ladybugs love.

Thank you Karri.

I am having so much fun with the lens and the light really helps to get close to the ladybugs. They are probably wondering why the paparazzi came to visit them. lol

With all this macro work lately I think I need to juxtapose that with something cinematic and large. :)
