Autumn Colors in 4K

Postby sidd finch » Mon Nov 14, 2016 11:38 am

We do not get much Fall foliage, but one of my favorite micro-pockets of Fall color is in in the middle of turning to red on orange. I got up early so I could capture the sun dancing between the leaves. In a few weeks time most of the remaining leaves will turn a very bright orange. I think the trees are Sumac trees but I am open to any amateur Arbor majors who know what kind of tree it is.

Beautiful reds Sidd. Our Fall isn't too good this year. Too warm. Most of the trees are going straight to brown.

Beautiful work as always, Sidd! And, man, I'd love to have your touch with a drone!

Thank you for thinking it was a drone. Truth be told it was a 3 axis gimbal mounted to a mono pod and me walking around. I just had to wait for the guy who was walking his dog to leave the area so I could record. lol

Our trees had beautiful color this year, but most of them have already lost their leaves.

Nice camera work, Sidd.

That was an unusual perspective on fall color. It put the viewer among the leaves instead of outside looking on. Enjoyed it! :TU:

Thanks Bob & Dave.

The colors looked so electric fro behind the leaves. All the shots looking at the leaves did not look as good as fro behind. There was also a flock of crows that all landed in one of the evergreen trees while I was filing. They were quite noisey. I triedto record the but they were sjut a bit too far out of reach.
