The Coat Hanger Disaster

Well it was bound to happen. Fishing line tied to a coat hanger spinning around.... Yep the line broke but it did make a cool shot. 120 fps and the camera lived to record again..

Camera still works... thank goodness...
The contraption kind of looks something like this. I am working on version 2.0 which I think will be a lot more stable. Pictures to follow once completed.

Anybody else hear John Cameron Swayze's voice saying "It takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'!"? Or do you have to be over 60 to get that reference?

Well I am no where near pushing 60 and I can hear the Timex quote. ;)

That be it, Sidd!

BTW, I still buy exclusively Timex watches. Which I guess makes me old because a) those Timex commercials still resonate with me, and b) I still wear a wrist watch.

I like Timex watches too.

I was watching the footage a bit more and it looks like the camera frame holding the camera that broke absorbed most of the impact. I ended up only having a very small scratch on the lens cover. SO all in all a good outing.

I did come up with a re-design of the unit that works really well now. I will post pictures in a bit.
