This could seem like a fad that could get really annoying....quick Smart professionals have started to offer aerial filming and photography, using drones to capture breathtaking images of the wedding party or all of the guests from above, or just the bride and groom sharing a special moment. These photos are stunning — enjoy and get inspired.

A local cinematographer that I know has been offering drone footage for a few years. I don't know if I would want the buzzing during the ceremony. When we were taking in the beauty of the ocean on a cliff at Tulum there was a drone buzzing about for a while. I found it to be annoying.

As one who shoots wedding photos, I'm inclined to agree about the ceremony disruption. This would be cool for post-ceremony formals, though. The examples they included in the article are nice.

Some wedding videographers had a package that included video taken from a helicopter, the drones are much less intrusive

Asheville North Carolina, Biltmore Hotel. They do helicopter shots of the wedding, $1000's of $$$$$$$. Would love to be a wedding videographer there
