The Hungry Bee

Postby sidd finch » Wed Mar 23, 2016 9:41 pm

Spring has sprung and the Orange Blossoms are in full swing. Of course this means there are lots of busy bee's flying around. The blossom was a bit shaky due to the wind causing the video to be a bit out of focus, but you can see Mr Bee using his giant tongue to get at that nectar.

Awesome Sidd! =D>

My Bottlebrush tree is in bloom too. That means the hummingbirds are swarming. There are currently about 5 to 6 fighting over every blossom.
I feel so bad... my 3 Gopros are collecting dust on the shelf and I forgot everything I knew. :(

Thank you for the kind words everyone.

There were a lot of bees just flying around from blossom to blossom but this one finally just landed and sat still. I did not realize what it was doing until I saw the footage. But still pretty cool to see it in action. Must have been taking a nectar break. :whew:
