First Test of Go Pro Hero4 SessionI finally got to really test the Go Pro this weekend. Using the app on my phone as the monitor and to control the camera works great. The video and photo quality is really amazing, also got to try some time lapse

Re: First Test of Go Pro Hero4 SessionWow, Vimeo really reduced the quality of this video. The original looks much better full screen than it does on Vimeo, not sure what I did wrong.

Re: First Test of Go Pro Hero4 SessionI had the Vimeo setting on Auto and when I changed it to 1080p it worked much better, still not as good as the original however.

Re: First Test of Go Pro Hero4 SessionThe video looks good Chuck. Pretty smooth considering how small it is. Colors look good too. But I think in the bright sun these cameras do really well. Looks like you had some fun too.

Re: First Test of Go Pro Hero4 SessionLooks good Chuck! Amazing what can be packed into a little camera. Looked smooth too.

Re: First Test of Go Pro Hero4 SessionThey make the snow, there really hasn't been any to speak of in Georgia this year so far. They have a conveyor belt that takes you back up the hill, we enjoy it every year

Re: First Test of Go Pro Hero4 SessionI was very surprised at the quality and how smooth the video is considering the camera is so small. Still want to do a really fun time lapse, just have to find the right subject. I know I am going to time lapse the setup of our Christmas display this year, and the tear down too.

Re: First Test of Go Pro Hero4 SessionSpring is right around the corner and great for time-lapses. You are lucky that spring arrives sooner to your area. The Christmas display time-lapse is a great idea. Do you still do the lights set to music on the house?

Re: First Test of Go Pro Hero4 SessionYes, had a really nice display for 2015. I have video and did a walk through with the Go Pro but have not taken a good look at it or put anything together yet. This year's display will be even bigger

I think there are many cameras that have better resolution and interchangeable lenses (think G4) but... For the size, ease of use, and maneuverability I really enjoy these small little workhorses. Re: First Test of Go Pro Hero4 Session
Vimeo has a page where you upload your video - and a different page - maybe "advanced"? where you have to go in to increase the resolution to full 1080p. I've been disappointed at my Vimeo video quality in the past before I knew about this. Looks like GREAT fun! Also looks like you went down backwards! You must be the heavyweight in the family. ![]() Lenovo W70l; 1.6 GHz, i7 quad core, Win 7, 64 bit, 16 gigs DDR-3 RAM; NVIDIA Quadro FX 2800; Two 1T 7200 internal drives; BluRay burner
